  1. Visit the Front Desk. Tours are available so you can see exactly what we have to offer before you join.
  2. Select a membership type. New members will pay a one-time joining fee + a pro-rated amount of the monthly membership rate. The most effective way to pay for your membership is to participate in the monthly ACH draft from a bank account or credit card.
  3. Join the Y! Register at the Front Desk or online. Pick up your Membership Card and Get Started! Once your membership has been processed, you have full access to our facilities and member benefits.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

MEMBERSHIP FAQ:

If you need to stop your Y membership, please fill out a Membership Stop Form at the Tri-County YMCA in person or contact us for a form by email: lauren@tricountyymca.org no less than 10 days before your automatic payment withdrawal. Stopping your Membership is NOT complete until we receive a completed Membership Stop Form.

We will confirm receipt of your Membership Stop Form by providing you with a copy or by an email confirmation. You are responsible for checking your bank and credit card accounts to ensure that automatic payments have been stopped. Membership dues are non-refundable.

At this time, we are not placing memberships on hold. You can stop your membership and rejoin when your ready for 50% off the joining fee.

  • Monthly: Memberships are continuous with dues being collected by automatic bank draft on the 25th prior to the upcoming month.
  • All membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Program Fees: In order to receive the member rate on YMCA programs, the child(ren) must be included in the membership. 
  • You must notify the YMCA in writing by filling out a Membership Stop Form 10 days prior to the the draft date. We will confirm receipt of your Membership Stop Form by providing you with a copy or by an email confirmation. You are responsible for checking your bank and credit card accounts to ensure that automatic payments have been stopped. Membership dues are non-refundable. Cancellations are not accepted over the phone.
  • Payment options are debit, credit or Bank Drafts.

YMCA Scholarship Program Financial Need Statement:

“No person will be denied access to YMCA programs or facilities
due to an inability to pay.”

Financial Assistance applications are available online or at the Tri-County YMCA upon request.

These scholarship funds are generously provided by charitable donations from families and businesses in our community through the YMCA's Annual Campaign. To make your own charitable donation to your YMCA, please contact Mike Steffe, Executive Director.  For more information, call 812-367-2323.
