Sport Programs

Bitty Basketball Parent: It gave my child the encouragement to try hard and play with others in a positive manner. It taught her to work as a team and help others while working on individual skills. (Tara Lytton)

Volleyball Participant: The co-ed volleyball league gives me something to look forward to in my week.  Meeting new people and playing a team sport at the YMCA helps me feel like part of the community. 

Soccer Parent: Wonderful program for the kids.

Girls' Fastpitch Softball Parent:
Prayer was powerful.  Leadership and teamwork was good.

Summer Day Camp

Tell City Parent: The YMCA Day Camp program is one of the best things my family has ever become involved in.  My son loves it and my husband and I can go to work knowing that he is in a safe and healthy environment where he can learn and grow.

Jasper Parent: The YMCA Day Camp is a reasonably-priced option for summer daycare which offers lots of opportunities for physical exercise and new experiences.  We also like that it is Christian-based and that the staff are qualified counselors who seem to really care about the children. 

Ferdinand Parent: We love the blend of physical activities with the learning and even the artwork and creativity.  The YMCA has been a great place where our son has had leadership with morals, kindness, and faith.  In these times, that’s getting harder to find.  Thanks!  We love it!

Santa Claus Parent: Knowing that my children enjoy going and don’t whine or cry when I leave them is reassuring to me.   

General Comments

Jasper Parent: YMCA teaches kids how God and our faith can be incorporated into fun, athletic activities.

Fulda Parent: YMCA is a true Christian environment that promotes fitness and positive character development.

Rachel Weyer: The YMCA is a great place for our whole family to come to spend time together and to have fun. It's also a great place to come by yourself - to give yourself a chance to get away.

Steve Scott: It has been a long time since I've been to a place where the staff and volunteers all go out of their way to be positive, helpful, and friendly. This also applies to the members, all of which are friendly as well. I look forward to coming to the YMCA after work and always recommend it to people who would like to stay in shape.

Tri-County YMCA Member: We love the YMCA.  The kids enjoy all of the things that they participate in at the YMCA.

Y Wee Care Child Development Center Parent: I am continually amazed at the things my children learn at the Y Wee Care. I feel so blessed to have such a caring and educational environment for my children during their preschool years.
