Welcome to the Y
The Tri-County YMCA's vision is to inspire everyone with caring people and family-friendly programs and facilities. We strengthen our members and communities through offering a variety of services, such as health and wellness programs, summer camps, family time, and childcare. We’re more than just a place to work out. At the Y, we help build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all with the core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith at the heart of everything we do.
With a commitment to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow, and thrive.
Community CPR/AED and First Aid Training
Heartsaver CPR/AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. The course also includes teaching basic First Aid skills. The training course used the Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows the instructor to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills. The trainings are open to the public, but are limited to six individuals per session. The cost is $40.00 for Members or $50.00 for Program Participants. The fall training dates will be listed soon.
